Launch of HOOT special issue with Estelle Benazet Heugenhauser and Robyn Chien.
with readings by Estelle Benazet Heugenhauser, Robyn Chien and Alix Prada
Estelle Benazet Heugenhauser, author and researcher, Robyn Chien, artist and director, and Sarah Rosa, author and magazine editor. They meet in Rome, stroll through a cemetery, sail on a boat, share coffees and exchange views on censorship, nationalism, union struggles, pop-culture and, of course, money and food.
HOOT is a compilation of printed conversations, a series of transcribed exchanges with a worker in the field of art or a collective, around the notion of work as activity, method, environment, milieu, symbol and necessity. Each season, from autumn to the following summer, on a Wednesday or a Sunday, HOOT offers its readers what we hope will be a passionate, open-mouthed discussion. Each issue will be written in the language used and shared during the conversation.
