Born in 1995 in Seine-Saint-Denis, where he lives and works, Tom Magnier develops his artistic practice alongside the various jobs he has held. Delivery driver, France Travail employment advisor, printer, dockworker, and now teacher, he is constantly looking for ways to free up time to create, build alliances, think, wander, infiltrate, and develop an artistic practice at work, through and with the people around him.

His practice seeks to make these two realities coexist, simultaneously and on an equal footing: to inhabit the city, develop forms of resilience, and create work collectively. These worlds intersect through collective stagings, which provide an opportunity to temporarily bring together self-selected groups.

A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure d’Art de Cergy (Beaux-Arts de Cergy), Tom Magnier has presented his work in several group exhibitions, at Glassbox, Treize, La Tour Orion (Espace Nonono), Neuvitech, Thundercage, and Papillon93.

Since 2023, he has been teaching applied arts at Lycée Professionnel Arthur Rimbaud in La Courneuve.
