For its second intervention in Montpellier, and in the context of “ZAT 2019, 100 artistes dans la ville”, Glassbox celebrates the summer season by proposing to Marine Peixoto to invest the workshop showcase of Mécènes du sud Montpellier-Sète.he will present a video produced for the occasion, Toast in Summer 2019, visible from the street every evening from 9pm to midnight.

Marine Peixoto was born in 1984. She lives and works between Paris and Montpellier, her home town. Graduated from the Arts Décoratifs school of Strasbourg in 2012, her practice mainly revolves around photography, publishing and video.

She is also half of the artist duo Prioux & Peixoto with whom she leads various artistic actions in France and abroad.
Her second solo exhibition, «Paëlla géante was held at Glassbox Paris in October 2018. She will participate this fall in the group exhibition “Future, Ancient, Fugitive” at the Palais de Tokyo museum.

The opening will be held in parallel with the new exhibition of Mécènes du Sud Montpellier-Sète, Chaosmos X : se souvenir de demain
